Discharge Valves
"Bluesphere NV"
Advantages
- Reduces abrasion compared with
a rotary valve, due to the fact that
there is a much reduced area in
metal to metal contact compared
with a rotary valve.
- Much safer than a rotary valve
because damage done to a hand
that is accidentally introduced in the
rotary valve would be much less.
- Works in all types of dust including
fibrous ones.
- Similar cost to a rotary valve
- Uses less energy and requires
less maintenance.
Operation
Stage I
Dust accumulates in the upper part of the valve.
Stage II
Dust falls from the upper part of the valve to the lower part while the air
seal is preserved.
Stage III
Valve returns to its original position while dust remains in the middle.
Stage IV
Dust falls from the middle to a drum or bulk bag.
Stage V
Valve returns to its original position.
"Bluesphere SD"
The "Bluesphere SD" valve is specially designed for the efficient and
rapid discharge of silos containing dust, pellets or chips.
This valve at the time of discharge starts rotating the screw conveyors
to obtain an orderly and controlled flow of dust from the silo. A
pneumatic fluidizer is included to avoid dust agglomeration and "caves",
in order to make the silo discharge more efficient.
