Industrial noise causes a lot of real problems in factories; even though
they are sometimes difficult to quantify. The principal problems are:
- Lack of concentration.
- Irritability.
- Fatigue.
- Accidents.
- Absentism.
- With time partial or total hearing loss.
To control industrial noise "Bluesphere" has three technologies:
Acoustical Booths
Acoustical booths isolate the noise source form machinery like
compressors. In this manner noise is trapped in its interior. Noise
outside the acoustical booth is practically eliminated and in its interior is
reduced, in case an operator has to work inside it. It has options like
illumination and ventilation if required, for example, by heat generating
electrical motors.
Isolated Cabins
This cabins isolate an area like office or laboratory inside the plant form
the noise produced by production machinery. This noise if not eliminated
would cause lack of concentration in activities that by its nature require it.
Fans and air moving equipment
produce a lot of noise. For this
reason it is advisable to put a
silencer that in a simple and
economic manner, without
reducing efficiency, reduce noise
to an acceptable level.
